Governance Structure & Register of Interests
Orchard Learning Trust is a registered company and charity. It has a Trust Board whose members oversee the work of the Board of Directors, who are responsible for achieving the Trust's objectives. The Board of Directors implement the strategy on behalf of the Trust, hold school leadership to account, ensure financial probity and are responsible for compliance with the various legal requirements involved in running an organisation of this nature. A number of responsibilities are delegated to local governing bodies, one for each school.
All our trust members, directors and local governors are fully vetted for their suitability to perform their role and are required to declare any interests they have. This may include family relationships with consultants, contractors or suppliers to the Trust or an individual School, private work and membership of other voluntary organisations, statutory bodies, etc.
